Paranormal Porn Just Earned Its First AVN Nod
Last week at the Avalon in Hollywood, amid the usual chaos of flashing cameras and barely-there dresses, AVN threw their annual nomination bash. Abigaiil Morris and ItsLo hosted, Amber Lynn worked the crowd like only a Hall of Famer can, and then—bam—Dirty Cinema’s three-part feature Sexual Activity landed a nomination for Best Indie/Amateur Movie or Series.
First nomination ever for the brand. And yeah, that kind of matters.
What the Hell Is “Sexual Activity” Anyway?
Picture this: young couple (Cleo Moon and owner/director Peter King) move into a gorgeous old house that’s clearly got some unfinished business from the afterlife. Doors slam by themselves, cold spots, the usual haunted-house bullshit… except instead of calling a priest, these two decide the spirits just want to fuck.
Three episodes. Real practical effects. Actual script that doesn’t suck. Mood lighting that’d make a horror director jealous. And yes, hardcore sex that somehow still fits the story instead of feeling tacked on.
That combo is rare as hell in indie land.
Peter King Couldn’t Hide the Excitement
