While most directors are popping champagne for a handful of nods, Ricky Greenwood and his teams just got handed nearly fifty nominations for the 2026 AVN Awards. That’s not a typo. The man is basically the Quebecois answer to a one-man studio takeover.
Ricky Greenwood Owns the 2026 AVN Nominations
The Avalon in Hollywood was popping last week when AVN threw their annual industry-only nom bash. Abigaiil Morris and ItsLo hosted, Amber Lynn brought the legend energy, and then the announcements started dropping like panties on set. When the dust settled, Greenwood walked away with a ridiculous haul across every damn studio he touched this year.
The Big Dogs: Grand Reel Contenders
Three—THREE—features snagged the coveted Grand Reel nod:
- Digital Playground’s Deadly Vows
- Digital Playground’s Wanted
- Dorcel’s Strip
That alone is nuts, but then you zoom in and the domination gets obscene.
Deadly Vows & Wanted Crush It at Digital Playground
Deadly Vows is dripping with noms: Ryan Reid up for Best Leading Actress, Elly Clutch gunning for Supporting, that nasty Ryan Reid/Ricky Johnson boy/girl scene, plus art direction, editing, makeup—the works. Even Mike Horner grabbed a non-sex nod because apparently legends never retire.
Wanted isn’t playing nice either. Blake Blossom and Isiah Maxwell both in the lead acting races, Parker Ambrose bringing the dick in a boy/girl nom, Kylie Rocket swallowing her way to an oral nomination. Same film, same insane production value sweep.
Dorcel Brings the High-End Heat
Over at Dorcel, Strip is the orgy gift that keeps giving—Tommy Pistol for Leading Actor, a Jayden Cole/Riley Reid/Gizelle Blanco all-girl group scene that’ll melt your screen, and that absolute chaos of a foursome with Clara Mia, Nicole Doshi, Blake Blossom, Nicole Vaunt, Seth Gamble, and Isiah Maxwell. Cinematography, screenplay, editing… yeah, they’re coming for everything.
Bonus: Play and The Holdup both landed Mark Stone Comedy nods because apparently Greenwood can do laugh-out-loud fuckfests too. Christy Canyon supporting actress comeback? Hell yes.
From Taboo to Tentacles to Trans Perfection
Pure Taboo’s “Simulation” and “Manhood” kept the dramatic heat coming—Oliver Davis and Ashley Lane acting their asses off (and more). Lez Be Bad dropped a girl pile-on worth watching on repeat, Ember Snow scored a DP nomination that’ll make you rewind twice.
Then there’s the wild side: Parasited’s “The Futa Parasited” and that insane “Overload Act 3” orgy with Anna Claire Clouds, Myra Moans, Octavia Red, Scarlett Alexis, and Ryan Driller. Tentacle porn just went prestige.
And TransSensual? TS Girls Do It Best series plus a scorching one-on-one scene—trans categories are locked down too.
